The land transportation is very convenient for people to travel between Macau and the areas of Pearl River Delta. There are two gateways between Macau and Mainland China:
- The Border Gate is located at the boundary between the northeast of Macau and Zhuhai City, it operates from 7am to midnight;
- the COTAI Frontier Post is situated on the Lotus Bridge in COTAI. The opening hours of the former is from 9 am to 8 pm.
Every day, from 7:15 am to 9:30 pm, there are air-conditioned buses of Kee Kwan Motor Road Co. operating bus service, departing from the bus stop near the Master Hotel, Macau, to different major cities in Guangdong province. The journey lasts for 2.5 hours and the fare costs about HKD55.

There is neither railway nor railway station in Macau, when visitors come from China by land, they can head for railway stations at Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong first and then transit to Macau via other transportation means (ferry, helicopter or bus, etc).
